About Canterbury

Canterbury Colorado is the official Episcopal Campus Ministry to CU-Boulder, based at St. Aidan's Episcopal Church. If you are interested in being involved in the Canterbury leadership team, click here.

We are a community of students and others who want to know Christ and live out our faith as members of the CU community. As we worship together and enjoy one another's company, we desire to be drawn closer to God and one another. We hope you will join us!

We are open to everyone--searchers and seekers, persons seeking to deepen their faith in Christ, from any denomination or background. Life in Christ is life in community--we hope you'll come be a part of it.

Canterbury Colorado is a separate 501c3 organization that holds the Fr. AB and Virginia Patterson Fund that provides resources for funding Campus Ministry at CU Boulder. A Board of Stewards, 11 members from St. Aidan's with representation from Boulder Episcopal congregations of St. Mary Magdalene, St. John's and St. Ambrose and the Bishop and Diocese, is the governing body for Canterbury Colorado.

Canterbury Colorado works in partnership with St. Aidan's to provide staffing, space, and programs for Episcopal Campus Ministry.

Canterbury Core

Canterbury Core is a group of student and young adult leaders who commit to regular meetings (every other Monday at 6:30 pm), to growing deeper in Christian discipleship and faith, and to regularly participating in worship and Sunday Night Dinners when school is in session. Being in Canterbury Core is a great way to grow in and to discover and discuss faith, and to build community.

Canterbury Core fall applications can be found at the back of the Chapel or in the Canterbury Lounge, and must be completed by Sunday August 29 for returning students, and Sunday September 26 for new students. Canterbury Core members receive a free weekday parking pass at St. Aidan's.

Canterbury Core meeting dates and times will be announced in the Sunday bulletins and in the Twitter announcement feed, and can also be found by going to our Church Calendar.
